Summer Time

Man, I swear this summer is going by all too quickly! We have had so many fun adventures I haven't had the time to blog about any of them.The end of June was very eventful for us.
On June 25 my Parents road in the Harmon's Best Dam Ride to promote MS awareness. They have been training for this race all summer long and I am so proud of them. This race meant a lot to my family; my dad was diagnosed with MS about four years ago. It was great to see him accomplish something that meant the world to him!

we drove to Colorado to see my Aunt Mary and her family. We had so much fun I totally forgot to take the time to take pictures. I did take a few of Randy on a roller coaster at Elitch Gardens (Colorado's equivalent of Lagoon)

We had so much fun in Colorado, Mary kept us moving non stop the whole time we were there. We absolutely loved it!

The weekend after Colorado was the Stadium of Fire! I can't think of a better way to celebrate the 4th of July than going to the Stadium of Fire. They broadcasted the whole thing to some of the Troops over in the Middle East, it was very patriotic.
Brad Pasily was awesome to hear live! and of course the fireworks were amazeballs!

After the concert we waited for the stadium to empty out then we got to the car and ate Frogurt! That's right Carl being the smarty pants he is suggested that instead of getting ice cream bars to put in the cooler with dry ice we get Yogurt Land and get yummy frozen yogurt! There is nothing better than eating frozen yogurt and watching other people sitting in traffic.


For the 4th of July we got to hang out with Mike and Heather Burt. In the morning we went to my moms house for breakfast. In the afternoon Mike and Heather came over and we went to Sandy Cities celebrations. We walked the booths for awhile and then watched the parade. After the parade we walked over to TGI Friday's for dinner, while we ate dinner my awesome mom saved us a spot to watch the fireworks. The fireworks were really cool, which is kinda surprising. ;)

We had so much fun and it made me feel so totally grateful to be living in America. We really are so blessed to have the freedoms we do. Thank you to the Troops and their families for sacrificing so much to keep the rest of us safe and happy! God Bless America!!
I'm loving our summer and wishing it would never end, but at the same time I'm very excited for the adventures that will come this fall.
